Q:  Is that all you do is stand around and play music?

A:  No.  I have plenty of games and contests.  I love games.  Games are good.   Also, I don't just stand around.  The software I have will play the songs "automagically" if I choose to, but I do have to make choices on what songs to play and in what order to play them, depending on the crowd.  I also have to dig through over 80,000 songs* on the fly to find requests.  I have a note pad specifically for your requests.

*(it would take over 5 months to play all the songs back to back)

Q:  What if your amp blows up during a job?

A: I have two amps.  If one blows up, we can get by with using just one.

Q:  What if something else breaks?

A:  I have two laptops and two hard drives.  I have plenty of lights, so if we loose one, we are covered.  I also have replacement bulbs.  I also have the old faithful "CD" players on the mixer should I need to play CD's.

Q:  What if you get sick or have a family emergency and can't make it?

A:  I work with other DJ's, and they can substitute, if needed.  Music selection won't be a problem because I make my set list days in advance.  (It usually takes me much longer to make my set list than it does to do an actual job!)

Q:  Will you play the music I want to hear?

A:  I will only play the music you want to hear.  It is your party and I want you to have a good time.  (Hopefully, a good time you won't soon forget!)  However, keep in mind the music is for everyone at the party.  You don't want me to play songs that only you like and everyone else hates...unless you don't mind dancing by yourself...but I promise I will dance with you...

There are several "types" or "versions" of songs:

1.  "Explicit lyrics":  Not played on the radio.  Contains "swear" or "curse" words, foul language, profanity, , etc.

2:  "Radio Edit":   Songs played on the radio with explicit lyrics that are "bleeped-out", silenced, reversed or replaced with sound effects.   May contain obvious innuendo, derogatory words, etc.  Usually not played by me, if I can help it.

3:  "Kid Friendly":  Explicit lyrics or obvious innuendo are "bleeped-out", silenced, reversed or replaced with sound effects.  I try my best to play only this kind of music.  Sometimes referred to as "Radio Disney" versions, even though some songs may still contain obvious innuendo.

4:  "Kidz Bop".  Usually songs that are re-made by kids' chorus instead of the original artist.
